Airspeed International recently opened its newest warehouse in Parañaque City covering a total area of 10,000 square meters.

Dubbed as its Metro Manila Southwest Distribution Center, the latest addition to the company’s growing range of assets and distribution centers is located on C5 Extension, La Huerta, Parañaque City and is accessible to Ninoy Aquino International Airport, Manila port, and other key cities in the metro.

With a ceiling height of 12 meters, the facility offers value-added services including ambient and temperature-controlled storage areas; cross docking and sorting; and a warehouse management system.

Besides Airspeed’s existing hubs in Clark, Cavite, Cebu, and Davao, the company is set to open new hubs in Batangas, Cagayan de Oro, and Subic within 2019.

“Airspeed prides [itself] in continuously providing excellent service, and these key moves are a clear demonstration of their commitment to making it happen for their clients,” the company said in a statement.

Airspeed has been a steady player in the logistics industry since 1985, initially focusing on international air freight forwarding and eventually expanding into international sea freight forwarding, customs brokerage, domestic air and sea freight forwarding, and pickup and delivery services.

After 33 years, Airspeed founder, chairman and president Rosemarie P. Rafael said the company is not slowing down.

“You cannot set boundaries on yourself because the opportunities are limitless. The main thing is [that] one needs to know exactly which opportunity to pursue,” Rafael said.
