MASkargo, the air cargo division of Malaysia Airlines, has launched MASlift, a premium airfreight service that offers guaranteed uplift with a money-back provision, according to a report by Bernama, Malaysia’s national news agency.

MASlift is targeted at cargo that requires urgent delivery to destinations within Malaysia Airlines network, a company statement said.

“The product is made available to all points within Malaysia effective from tomorrow, and will be made available to all Malaysia Airlines network progressively, as it provides options for our customers with urgent shipments,” said Mohd Yunus Idris, MASkargo chief executive officer, in a statement released July 31.

“With MASlift, we promise top priority uplift or a one hundred percent refund in the unlikely event of a shipment being offloaded from the booked flight,” he added.

MASkargo recently announced plans to venture into niche services such as cool chain for food and pharmaceutical products to combat the ongoing economic challenges.
