NMC Container Lines, Inc., a member of the Magsaysay Shipping & Logistics’ Liner Shipping Division, recently received the “Mahusay” or Best Shipping Line Award for 2017 from Nestle. The Mahusay recognized NMC’s 98% lead time accuracy and 98% on-time delivery. “The award is certainly a morale booster for the Liner Group, having overcome adversities in recent years even as we remain committed to our core value of excellence,” said Jay Olivarez, chief operating officer of the Liner Shipping Division, who received the award from Nestle outgoing Transport head Angie Santor and Cagayan de Oro Distribution Center head Eric Nayal, during Nestle’s Transport Planning and Team Building Activity in Cavite. Other awards were also given to truckers under the Safety, Environment, and Service Support categories.
