The Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines’ (SCMAP) has a new executive director in Corazon Curay.

Curay replaces Norman Adriano, who has stepped down to pursue other opportunities, SCMAP said in a statement.

Curay, who served as president of both SCMAP and its predecessor organization, Distribution Management Association of the Philippines, for a combined 10 years—most recently from 2015 to 2016—assumed the position on January 1.

A chemical engineer by profession, Curay has over 30 years of supply chain experience, having worked for Coca-Cola and San Miguel before founding XVC Logistics, which she currently leads. She was also part of the National Competitiveness Council’s working group for transport, infrastructure and logistics.

Curay assumes her new position alongside SCMAP’s 2019 Board of Directors, led by new president Christine Pardiñas of Rustan Supercenters.

SCMAP is the premiere supply chain organization in the country, comprised of over 200 members, both companies and individuals, spread in various chapters across the country.
