The 12th IAPH Asia/Oceania Regional Meeting & Port Forum will be hosted by the Sri Lanka Ports Authority (SLPA) on March 8 and 9, 2012 at Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall, Colombo, Sri Lanka.

This is the biggest regional port event scheduled in Sri Lanka, which expects over 250 foreign participants, including port and related organizations of IAPH.

Theme of the regional meeting is “Global Challenges—Impact on Asia/Oceania Region,” according to a press release.

Simultaneously, the Sri Lanka International Air Freight, Shipping & Logistics Expo, the country’s first ever exposition of this kind, will be held at the same venue.

The dedicated website for the forum is now up, offering online registration and hotel booking information.
