Singapore-based feeder Advanced Container Lines (ACL) has started calling Manila South Harbor on its North Philippines Service (NP1).

ACL on its website said the weekly Manila South call “is part of ACL’s growing expansion of our Philippines service, aiming to provide customers with an alternative gateway in the city of Manila.”

Shipments both north and south bound will be accepted. The first voyage began July 27 from Singapore on the Kota Jasa v.JAA267 and arrived at Manila South on August 1.

NP1’s rotation includes Singapore, Manila South Harbor, Manila North Harbor, and Cebu.

Aside from NP1, ACL offers the South Philippines Service which calls Singapore, Cebu, General Santos, and Davao.

ACL’s container feeder business offers shipping links to the main line operators to and from ports in the Indian Sub-Continent (India and Bangladesh) and Southeast Asia (Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Myanmar, Vietnam, and Philippines).

It operates ships with capacities ranging from 200 twenty foot-equivalent units to 1,200 TEUs that serve over 30 destinations in more than 10 countries in the region.
