The Bureau of Customs (BOC) has reshuffled nine district collectors and two deputy collectors.

Guillermo Pedro A. Francia IV has been installed as acting district collector of the Manila International Container Port, replacing Atty. Erastus Sandino Austria, who has returned to Davao port as acting district collector.

Atty. Romalino G. Valdez, who was replaced by Austria, has been assigned acting district collector of the Port of Batangas.

Arsenia C. Ilagan has been appointed acting district collector of the Port of Manila, replacing Atty. Ma. Rhea M. Gregorio, who is now the acting district collector of the Port of San Fernando in La Union.

Atty. Ruby Claudia M. Alameda has been assigned acting district collector of the Port of Clark, while Atty. Michael D.C. Vargas was designated as acting district collector of Port of Limay.

Atty. Charlito Martin R. Mendoza is now the acting district collector of the Port of Cebu and Atty. Edward R. Ibera as Batangas port deputy collector for assessment.

Atty. Francis T. Tolibas and Atty. Lilibeth Sandag were reassigned as acting district collector of the Port of Tacloban and Ninoy Aquino International Airport deputy collector for operations, respectively.

The reshuffle was part of Customs Commissioner Rey Guerrero’s plan to restrategize after the bureau’s midyear performance evaluation, according to Assistant Commissioner Vincent Philip Maronilla.
