It’s business as usual at the Port of Manila (POM), Manila South Harbor operator Asian Terminals Inc. (ATI) assured stakeholders despite the fire hit the Bureau of Customs-POM building on Feb 22.

A fully operational One-Stop-Shop satellite office has been immediately set up by ATI inside Pier 15’s passenger terminal to ensure uninterrupted port transactions.

The satellite office houses ATI’s Billing and Collections unit where brokers can settle port fees, book TABS (Terminal Appointment Booking System) transactions, print gatepasses using self-help kiosks and conduct other online transactions.

ATI’s customer helpdesk, the Verification, Receipting and Monitoring Unit of Philippine Ports Authority-NCR South, Philippine Export Zone Authority units and BOC-POM’s Operations Division, Export Division and Container Control Division are also housed at the same location.

Meanwhile, POM’s Assessment and Formal Entry Division is fully operational, temporarily located at the BOC gymnasium.

ATI encourages its customers to schedule their cargo deliveries as normal.
