Adones Carmona has been elected as the new president of the Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. (CCBI) for 2019-2021. He took over the reins of the association from Atty Ferdinand Nague.

In an election held on March 21, Carmona was voted president from among the new members of the CCBI Board of Directors who won in the chamber’s national elections last March 8.

Other officers include Armando Chan as the new executive vice president and Florecita Tagle as vice president for internal affairs. Julius Basas is the new vice president for professional development, Dennis Del Pilar is vice president for international, and Reffy Gorre is vice president for government affairs.

Michael Tede was elected as secretary, Maria Theresa Santos as treasurer, Jerry Reyes as auditor, and Jimmy Sena as PRO.

Directors for the two-year term include Sunny Aguila, Erwina Atienza, Samson Gabisan, Felix Pica, and Henry Villa.

CCBI, the accredited professional organization of customs brokers in the Philippines, has around 5,000 practicing members and chapters in Manila, Batangas, Clark, Cebu, Subic, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, General Santos, and Zamboanga. – Roumina Pablo
