MICP-Auction and Cargo Disposal Division (ACDD) will dispose of 78 containers in 18 lots consisting of various merchandise such as assorted mobile phones, paraffin wax, plastic resin, used household goods, flexibags in industrial grade RBD, C2S offset paper, compressors, hot rolled steel wire rod, and high-density polyethylene resin.  Three used vehicles—a Jaguar V6 XF 2011, a Mercedes Benz 1986, and a Chevrolet 2007 model—are also up for auction.

The ACDD-MICP expects the public auction sale to increase BOC’s revenues from January to date this year to more than P177 million.

Earlier, proceeds from the first-quarter auction sale of MICP amounted to P92.857 million, while the auction sale in April yielded a total of P60.587 million. As of June 2016, MICP has disposed of 475 containers through public auctions.

Public viewing of merchandise and the pre-bid conference for qualified bidders to the June 14 auction are slated for June 13, 2016.
