ID-10034092The Department of Transportation and Communications (DOTC) will spend P70.8 million on three infrastructure development projects in Mindanao.

In a bid bulletin, DOTC seeks companies interested in development works for the Port of Benoni in northern Mindanao and the Dipolog Airport in Zamboanga Del Norte, and the building of the DOTC CARAGA Office Annex in Agusan Del Norte.

Getting the biggest of the approved budget of P33.35 million is the Benoni port development project that involves expansion of a back-up area and construction of a drainage system.

With a budget of P18.764 million, the Dipolog Airport development project includes the asphalt overlay of the runway measuring 5,355 square meters and correction of the shoulder grade with an area of 3,551 square meters.

Meanwhile, a 126-square-meter three-story building worth P18.675 million will be put up in Barangay Apayon, Butuan as annex building of the DOTC’s CARAGA office.

Bid documents are available from October 16 until November 6, and the pre-bid conference for all projects will be conducted on October 23.
