It looks like we may see new momentum for the electronic-to-mobile (e2m) system.
E-ACTS To e2m Migration
The Bureau of Customs is scheduled to meet with stakeholders this week on the migration of E-ACTS to e2m Customs. E-ACTS involves the processing of PEZA-authorized tax and duty-exempt import shipments of economic zone locator enterprises in the airports/seaports of discharge for clearance, release and transfer to the economic zones.
Under CMO 6-2011, E-ACTS applies to import shipments consigned to economic zone locator enterprises discharged in airports and seaports where ACOS is operating, such as but not limited to the Port of Mania, MICP, NAIA, Diosdado Macapagal International Airport, Mactan-Cebu International Airport, Port of Subic, Port of Batangas and Cebu International Port.
PEZA AEDS-T0-e2m AEDS Data Integration
Pilot testing of PEZA AEDS-to-e2m AEDS data integration is scheduled on Tuesday (02 October).
The objectives of the pilot trial run are:
– establish compliance of PEZA locator with e2m AEDS mandatory requirements for valid exporter CCN and bank reference number
– validate that PEZA AEDS electronic ED information successfully pass the e2m AEDS data validation rules implemented in BOC VASP client front-end system
– confirm that PEZA AEDS SAD data is successfully stored, accepted and processed in e2m System
A total of 18 PEZA-registered export enterprises have volunteered to participate. During this pilot testing, PEZA AEDS electronic export declarations lodged by these locators will automatically be submitted to e2m AEDS System without any requirement for manual intervention or data re-encoding.
The pilot participants are clients of Apollo Technologies (PEZA-accredited VASP) and Cargo Data Exchange Center (BOC-accredited VASP).
