CHAMP Cargosystems is hosting a forum designed to create awareness of eCargo developments on June 18 at the Marriott Hotel in Pasay City.

The event entitled “Creating e-Awareness in the Philippines” will give air cargo transport chain stakeholders more insights on the eAWB, eCustoms and eCargo and inform them of challenges associated with these systems.

During the event, CHAMP will also showcase Logitude, a software that enables small and medium-sized forwarders to participate in International Air Transport Association (IATA) eAWB and eFreight initiatives.

In attendance will be Roberto Lim, Philippine manager of IATA; Antoinette Reyes, president of the Aircargo Forwarders of the Philippines; and Leo Morada, CEO of value-added service provider Cargo Data Exchange Center.

CHAMP Cargosystems will be represented at the forum by Oliver Neerfeld, Head of Commercial Operations, CHAMP Asia Pacific; and Lourdes Angeles, Managing Director, CHAMP Cargosystems Philippines.

Luxembourg-based CHAMP provides a comprehensive range of integrated IT solutions and distribution services for all players in the air cargo transport chain.

The portfolio spans cargo management systems, the largest cargo community integration platform with message distribution services, and an extensive selection of innovative eCargo solutions. These include applications to meet customs and security requirements, quality optimization, as well as e-freight and mobility needs. Products are marketed under the Cargospot and Traxon brands.

Headquartered in Luxembourg, CHAMP has offices in London, Zurich, Atlanta, Manila and Frankfurt / Main. It started operations in the Philippines in 2010 with 20 people but now employs around 190.
