ID-100239982In the interest of fairness, we are publishing in full the statement of Goldwin CFS, Inc on the overcharging case levelled against it by the Association of Off-Dock CFS Operators of the Philippines and which appeared on our print and online editions.

“Goldwin CFS is a Non-ACOP Member

“Goldwin CFS, Inc. a world class off dock cy-cfs facility, is the only one among all warehouse operators who is a NON-ACOP member. Goldwin CFS Inc. fully supports the Bureau of Customs in its programs and initiative in promoting a better supply chain security. It is equipped with an implemented enhanced security system which adheres to the strictest global standards such as 24/7 CCTV monitoring and Intrusion Alarm System with Zoning Capability that suite its global partners requirements. It promotes the principle of transparency and has not been dealing with companies involved in smuggling. Irregularities and illegalities have no room inside Goldwin CFS and it has been continuously fighting for fair and honest dealings to its stakeholders.

“The motive for the complaints filed by the ACOP members against Goldwin CFS Inc, a non-ACOP member for the alleged overcharging of warehousing charges is plain and obvious. They will be dealt with in the proper forum which is already with the Bureau of Customs.

“Finally, based on information at the Bureau of Customs, there are also pending cases of overcharging of warehousing charges by Trans-Orient Warehouse and its other members.
