Hapag-LloydGerman shipping line Hapag-Lloyd announced it will implement voyage cancellations on four of its Asia-U.S. network services during the Lunar New Year holiday.

On the Super Shuttle Express (SSX), canceled is the week 6 eastbound voyage of OOCL Miami, with an expected time of departure (ETD) from Xiamen, China, of February 6, 2014.

To minimize the impact of the void sail, the NYK Phoenix will make a call at Hong Kong on February 10 and Kaohsiung on February 11, a Hapag-Lloyd statement said.

On the same route, the week 9 westbound voyage of OOCL Miami, with an ETD from Long Beach, U.S., of February 28, has been cancelled.

There is also void sailing for NYK Triton on the eastbound Central China Express (CCX) for week 7, with ETD of February 12 from Qingdao, China. Westbound trip for week 10, ETD from Los Angeles, U.S., of March 6, is likewise scrapped.

On the Pacific China Express (PCX), Hyundai Hongkong’s eastbound voyage scheduled for week 7, with an ETD from Ningbo, China, of February 5, is voided. Also cancelled is its westbound journey for week 9, set for February 23 from Los Angeles, U.S.

On the North West Express (NWX), removed is the Prague Express’s eastbound trip for week 7, set to leave from Ningbo on February 17.

Instead, the OOCL Atlanta on the PNX (Pacific Northwest Express Service) will be omitting Da Chan Bay in China, and Hong Kong eastbound, and adding Yantian and Qingdao in China and Busan in South Korea.

Westbound, Prague Express’s week 10 sailing from Los Angeles on February 23 has also been removed.
