Indonesia Port Corporation (IPC), or PT Pelabuhan Indonesia II, appointed on January 15 Ari Henryanto as the new general manager of Tanjung Priok Port.

Ari replaced Cipto Pramono, who had held both the posts of GM and director of human resources and general affairs of IPC. Henryanto’s appointment aims to free Pramono to focus on his functions as director of personnel and general affairs, the state-owned port operator said in a statement.

During the turnover ceremonies, IPC president director R.J. Lino also appointed other officials of the Tanjung Priok Port. These are M. Adji as deputy general, Solikhin as deputy manager of Terminal 1, and Rocio Widhiono as deputy general manager of Terminal 2.

The event was held at the IPC headquarters, attended by the board of directors and management team, the head of the port authority as well as representatives from the Indonesia National Shipowners’ Association and other shipping associations.
