Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha (“K” Line) said it will begin a weekly Kwangyang/Kaohsiung–West India Express (FIX) service from November 30, 2011 to enhance its West India trade.
“By introducing this new service, ‘K’ Line will be able to provide direct service from Kwangyang and Kaohsiung to Nhava Sheva and Karachi,” a company statement said.
“K” Line also operates two other weekly services (INDFEX-1 and CIX-2) that call at Xingang, Qingdao, Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, and West India.
The FIX service will have its first sailing by Hanjin Durban and arrives at Kwangyang on November 30.
Its port rotation will be Kwangyang, Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Kaohsiung, Singapore, Nhava Sheva, Karachi, Port Klang, Singapore, Kwangyang.
