Kuehne + Nagel (K+N) has appointed Reinhard Schullerus as head of global sales and marketing effective January 1, 2014.

Schullerus, 49, joined Kuehne + Nagel in 1994. Following various regional management positions, he has built up the company’s service offer, organization, and customer base for integrated end-to-end services and has been managing this business field as senior vice president of integrated logistics since 2004.

In his new position, Schullerus will concentrate on strengthening key account management and the sale of end-to-end solutions, as well as increasing the effectiveness of global sales activities and exploiting the growth potential in cross- and up-selling between business units and regions.

“We are very pleased to fill this important position with a highly experienced and successful manager from our own ranks,” said Detlef Trefzger, CEO of Kuehne + Nagel. “The appointment of Reinhard Schullerus reflects our concentration on our customers and their requirements.”
