Logistics service provider Logwin has expanded its operations in Jakarta, Indonesia, by moving into a bigger, self-contained warehouse within the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in August.

The new facility has increased the company’s storage space from 280 square meters to 720 square meters.

Explained Eric Mathieu, country director of Logwin in Indonesia: “This enables us to meet the high demand and rising need for modern warehousing and transshipment space in Indonesia. In addition, our reliable logistics solutions enable us to offer efficient and safe access to one of the most attractive domestic markets in Asia.”

Logwin takes charge of the transshipment of incoming airfreight that passes through customs for its customers in the consumer goods, pharmaceuticals, and food processing industries.

With its high level of domestic consumption and rising exports of industrial goods, Indonesia is one of the world’s fastest and most steadily growing industrial nations, said Logwin in a media release. Its economic growth is expected to slightly exceed 6 percent in 2013 and reach 6.5 percent next year.
