busy subic portIntra-Asia carrier MCC Transport has revised its weekly direct calls to the Port of Subic.

MCC revised its Intra-Asia 4 (IA4) service and changed vessel estimated time of arrival in Subic from Saturday to Tuesday, effective July 21.

The carrier, in an advisory, said IA4 is the fastest service from Subic to Hong Kong at just one day transit, and the fastest transit service in the market from Subic to Shanghai at just seven days.

The service, MCC said, also offers “better connection options to and from key China and Southeast Asia ports via Hong Kong or Yantian,” and is “a mid-week schedule to cater to your end-of-week production assembly.”

IA4 vessel rotation is as follows: Subic, Hong Kong, Yantian, Kaohsiung, Ningbo, Shanghai, and Kwangyang, and from Surabaya, Jakarta, Tanjung Pelepas and Singapore to Subic.

MCC started calling Subic early this year. Aside from its IA4 service, MCC recently started its second weekly call to the Northern and Central Luzon hub with its revised Philippine Feeder 4 (PH4) service. PH4 calls Subic every Thursday.

Aside from MCC, regular callers to Subic include APL, Wan Hai, Swire Shipping, NYK, SITC, and K Line.
