MCC Transport has announced a series of revisions beginning September 2011 to its services linking Asian destinations.
The intra-Asia specialist carrier of Denmark-based AP Moller-Maersk Group revised its Indonesia 1 (IN-1), Intra-Asia 7 (IA-7), Intra-Asia 9 (IA-9), Indonesia 2 (IN-2), Indonesia 7 (IN-7), and Intra-Asia 4 (IA-4) services.
The IN-1 service has added a new link to Merak. It is now a seven-day rotation that calls the ports of Jakarta, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Merak, Jakarta. First sailing was from Tanjung Pelepas on September 3.
The IA-7 service dropped a call on Jakarta and replaced it with one on Manila. A second call on Tanjung Pelepas was also introduced. The service is a 14-day rotation covering the ports of Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Manila, Keelung, Kaohsiung, Tanjung Pelepas. The first sailing departed Tanjung Pelepas on September 4.
The IA-9 service will be a 21-day rotation with calls on the ports of Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Danang, Haiphong, Hong Kong, Yantian, Manila South Harbor, Manila North Harbor, Tanjung Pelepas. It incorporates new links from Hong Kong and Yantian to Manila, an alternative cutoff for Haiphong to Hong Kong, and connections to both the Manila north and south harbors. The new rotation started September 9, the first sailing departing from Danang.
The IN-2 service will be a seven-day rotation covering the ports of Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Jakarta, Tanjung Pelepas. First sailing leaves Tanjung Pelepas on September 14.
The IN-7 service has added direct links from Semarang and Panjang to Songkhla and Kuantan. The 14-day rotation covers the ports of Tanjung, Pelepas, Semarang, Panjang, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Songkhla, Kuantan, Tanjung Pelepas. The first sailing is from Semarang on September 14.
The revised IA-4 service is a 28-day rotation covering the ports of Jakarta, Tanjung Pelepas, Hong Kong, Kaohsiung, Busan, Kwangyang, Qingdao, Kaohsiung, Tanjung Pelepas, Surabaya, Jakarta. The service drops a call on Shanghai and adds new loops from Busan and Kwangyang to Kaohsiung. It also makes calls from Kaohsiung to Surabaya and Jakarta. The revised route starts on September 15, sailing from Kaohsiung.
