Come October 31, Philippine Airlines (PAL) intends to resume its nonstop thrice-weekly service between Manila and Abu Dhabi after noticing increasing demand on the route.
PAL last May announced the suspension effective July 8 this year of flights PR 656 and PR 657 to and from Abu Dhabi on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, saying it will undertake “route assessment initiatives.”
The airline, however, continues to operate PR 656 every Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, departing Manila at 11:45 a.m. and arriving in Abu Dhabi at 5:45 p.m. PR 657 operates on the same days, leaving Abu Dhabi at 7:30 p.m. local time and touching down in Manila at 8:50 a.m. the following day.
By the end of the year, the flag carrier said, it will provide bi-class service (business and economy) across all its Middle East routes, offering passengers on board amenities, free baggage allowance, comfort, convenience, and inflight entertainment.
