SEVEN companies joined the Philippine freight forwarding industry in August while 21 others had renewed their accreditation over the last three months.
Data from the Philippine Shippers’ Bureau (PSB) showed three of the seven are new domestic freight forwarders – Cargo Sealed Freight Services, Hyper Mega Logistics Inc., and Kargo Otso Freight Forwarding Corp.
The four international freight forwarders are FRS Freight Services Inc., Golden Axle Cargo International Forwarding Inc., Twin’s K Cargo Specialist & Dev’t. Co. Inc. and 2888 Vigour Int’l. Logistic Services Co. (formerly Vigour Int’l. Logistics Services Co.).
Two freight forwarders, RM Posadas Freight Corp. and Ximex Delivery Express Inc., renewed their accreditation as domestic freight forwarders.
International freight forwarders that also renewed their accreditation were: All Freight Express Logistics Inc.; CIL (Asia) Inc.; Everich Sealandair Logistics Co.; GCLPI-Gateway Container Line Phils. Inc.; Hienrich Forwarders Services; Intermarine Express Lines Inc. (formerly Intermodal Express Lines); Kerry ATS Logistics Inc. (formerly Kerry-ATS Logistics Inc.); Macoline Freight Forwarding Services, Inc.; Manila International Freight Forwarders Inc.; MC Global Freight Solutions Inc.; OEC Freight Worldwide, Manila Corp.; Orientstar Freight International Inc.; RB Solutions Inc. (formerly RB Freight Solutions Inc.; Accord Shipping (NVOCC) Phils. Inc.; Accord CSA Shipping Philippines Inc.); RR Southern Freight Forwarder Co.; S.E. Cruz Customs Brokerage and Freight Forwarder, and Unifreight Cargo Systems Inc.
Forwarders Airspeed International Corp. and World Time Express Cargo Logistics Co. both renewed their international and domestic freight forwarding licenses.
In its hunt for erring freight forwarders, PSB also disclosed Grace Express Cargo of the United Arab Emirates as under investigation due to undelivered door-to-door boxes.
Complaints regarding undelivered door-to-door boxes of Al Rodah Marine Services, EZ Cargo, Manila Broker-Philippines, Pacific Logistics International Cargo, and The Filipino Cargo International were already endorsed to the Department of Justice for investigation.
Aeroworld Logistics Phils Inc. was ordered to show cause why it failed to deliver customers’ boxes.
PSB, mandated to promote and protect the interest of the shipping public, had already filed formal charges against freight forwarders operating without accreditation. – Roumina Pablo
