The Philippine International Seafreight Forwarders Association (PISFA) last week elected its new set of officers for 2011 to 2013.

Elected president was Irene Manguiat-Tan, chief executive officer of the Transmodal Group. Tan takes over from Nelson Mendoza, president of Awards Cargo Agency Phils, who is now the PISFA chairman.

Mariz C. Regis, general manager of Airspeed International Corp, was voted executive vice president; Erich H. Lingad, general manager of International Consolidators Philippines, Inc, vice president for external affairs; and Marilyn C. Alberto, general manager of Kintetsu World Express, vice president for internal affairs.

Josie C. Yap, president of Philippine Genesis Freight Unlimited, Inc, is now corporate secretary; Benny C. Anunciation of Sea Jet International Forwarders, Inc; treasurer; and Fernando C. Perez of Yusen Logistics Phils, Inc, auditor.

Cynthia R. Tsui (Asia Overseas Transport Co), Jaime A. Roxas (Jugro Transport International), Juan Carlos Y. Aquias (Vanguard Logistics Services Phils, Inc), and Renato C. Ayson (JCM Cargo Network Corp) are the new set of directors.
