Reelected president San Diego leads 2020 set of PSAA officers

Arnel San Diego of Wallem Philippines Shipping, Inc. has been reelected for the fourth straight year as president of the Philippine Ship Agents Association (PSAA) for 2020.

San Diego will lead PSAA’s 2020 officers and Board of Directors, which were also reelected for next year’s term, except for new directors Brian Salonga of RCS Shipping Agencies, Inc., Russell More of NMC Ship Agency and Brokerage, Inc., Dan Alampay of Baliway Shipping Agency, and Capt. Dante Romano of Seaway Filipinas Logistics, Inc.

Inter-Asia Marine Transport, Inc.’s Walter Coronel was reelected vice president for internal affairs, while Mizzen Shipping Enterprises, Inc.’s Leo Philip Buñag is still vice president for external affairs.

Ricardo Jamandre of Swen Logistics and Shipping Agency, Inc. is still secretary while German Bonifacio, Jr. of I-Prudential Shipping Agency Services, Inc. remains as treasurer.

Reelected directors for 2020 are Romelos Carmelotes (COSCO), Virginia Madlang-Awa (Doña Virginia Maritima Corporation), Joselito Ilagan (TMS Ship Agencies, Inc.), Ernan De Leon (Global Maritime Logistics Support, Inc.), Raoul Michael Viray (Petro-bulk Maritime Services, Inc.), and Capt. Ildefonso Gonzales of Sharp Port Services, Inc.

The 2020 set of officers and directors was inducted on December 5 by former PSAA president Reginaldo Oben.

PSAA, which has been in the industry for 45 years, represents more than 40 ship agents of foreign shipping lines and foreign trampers that operate in Philippine ports.
