Philippine carrier Royal Air Charter Service, Inc. is set to operate daily flights from Clark International Airport (CRK) to Puerto Princesa, Cebu, Caticlan, Tagbilaran, and San Vicente (Palawan) starting November 12.

Royal Air in a statement said the new daily flights come after being authorized by the Civil Aeronautics Board on July 26 to operate as a scheduled commercial airline with both domestic and international flights.

Clark International Airport Corp. president Alexander Cauguiran said the new flights promoting tourist attractions in the southern Philippines “will definitely draw in more foreigners wanting to visit the country via Clark.”

The air carrier will be using the British Aerospace AVRO 146-100 aircraft, a four-engine 97-seater regional airliner, for its upcoming daily service.

Beginning November 12, daily flights between Clark and Puerto Princesa departs at 7 a.m. and arrives at 10 a.m.; Caticlan departs at 11 a.m. and arrives at 1:10 p.m.; Tagbilaran service leaves at 2:10 p.m. and arrives at 5:00 p.m.; San Vicente, Palawan service leaves at 7:00 a.m. and arrives at 9:30 a.m.; and Cebu service leaves at 10:30 a.m. and arrives at 1:10 p.m.

Royal Air has already been servicing the Clark to Cagayan North (Lal-lo) weekly chartered flights since April 29, Cauguiran added.

CRK currently hosts 436 flights per week with 274 domestic and 162 international flights and records an average of 7,000 passengers daily.

As of September 17, the Northern Luzon hub has already serviced a total of 1.8 million passengers.
