SDV East Timor has been appointed to represent Swire Shipping new service in East Timor.

Swire Shipping is the brand name for all liner shipping services operated by The China Navigation Company Pte Ltd.

From its traditional core trading area, the Asia-South Pacific region, Swire Shipping offers shipping links between over 100 ports worldwide.

Swire Shipping service will run on the following port rotation: Singapore – Darwin – Dili – Singapore every 18 days initially.

It is the first time in many years that competition is offered on the Darwin to Dili market, which will give customers in Darwin and in East Timor more choice to send their goods.

Other ports in Australia will also be covered by this service through trans-shipment in Darwin, while Asia, Europe, the Indian Sub Continent, North America and the Middle East ports will be covered through trans-shipment in Singapore.

The Swire Shipping fleet of multipurpose vessels is capable of carrying a wide range of general/unitized cargoes (including heavy and bulky project lifts), bulk parcels as well as containerized cargoes (general and refrigerated).
