The Maritime and Port Authority (MPA) of Singapore said revisions to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Dangerous Goods, Petroleum and Explosives) Regulations 2009 are in force from this month.
In Port Marine Notice No. 149 of 2015 dated December 29, the MPA said amendments to the regulations would be effected by the authority on January 1, 2016.
The Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Dangerous Goods, Petroleum and Explosives) Regulations 2015 was published in the Government Gazette on December 28, 2015.
“The First Schedule to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Dangerous Goods, Petroleum and Explosives) Regulations 2009 (G.N. No. S 649/2009) is deleted and substituted with a new First Schedule as found in the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Dangerous Goods, Petroleum and Explosives) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 (G.N. No. S 795/2015),” said the notice.
It added that copies of the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (Dangerous Goods, Petroleum and Explosives) (Amendment) Regulations 2015 are now available for purchase.
