TNT Express opened its regional security command centre in Singapore on 5 December. This facility will monitor trucks and goods moving on TNT’s Asia Road Network, which connects Singapore to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam and China. Operational 24/7, the centre has direct communication with customs and police authorities in these countries. TNT uses GPS technology and vehicle CCTV cameras to track its trucks and improve key operations like loading and unloading.
