A total truck ban along Roxas Boulevard will be implemented by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) on August 8 from 2pm to 9pm due to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) Ministers’ Meeting.

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), in an advisory, said the ban will cover Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue to P. Burgos and vice versa.

Affected trucks that are northbound can turn right to EDSA then left South Superhighway to Port Area.

From August 2 to 8, the country is hosting several ASEAN meetings and conferences, including the 50th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting. Aside from this meeting, there will be a Foreign Ministers Meeting and Related Meetings and the Grand Commemorative Celebration of ASEAN@50 on August 8.
