Zim Integrated Shipping announced changes to its Asia-South America service from November as part of its winter program.
The Israel-based box ship said that during the winter season, its Asia-South America East Coast (ASE) service, a joint venture with CCNI and Hanjin Shipping, will operate jointly with Pacific International Lines, K-Line, Nippon Yusen Kaisha, and Hyundai Merchant Marine.
The revised ASE program will maintain a weekly, fixed-day service from mid-November with the following rotation: Pusan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Shekou, Singapore, Rio de Janeiro, Santos, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Navegantes/Itajai, Paranagua/Rio Grande, Santos, Rio de Janeiro, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Pusan.
“This seasonal arrangement is made in order to cope with market conditions while sustaining our high levels of service,” the carrier said in a statement.
