Total domestic airfreight volume in the Philippines reached 6.013 million kilograms for the first quarter, according to a report from the Civil Aeronautics Board (CAB).

Of the total, 3.228 million kg were represented by direct shipments, 2.779 million kg by consolidations, and 0.534 million kg by breakbulk cargoes.

No comparative figures were given.

AP Cargo Logistics Network topped the list of domestic airfreight forwarders in the first quarter, accounting for 30.84% or 1.854 million kg of the total market.

Airfreight 2100, Inc came next with 784,065 kg or 13.04% of the aggregate.

With a market share of 8.15%, in third place was Ximex Delivery Express with 490,013 kg.

JRS Business Corp was in fourth spot at 288,092 kg or 4.79% of the total and Explorer Freight Corp in fifth with 216,442 kg or 3.60%.

Others in the top ten domestic airfreight forwarder list of CAB were Libcap Marketing Corp in sixth place with a market share of 3.54% or 212,952 kg; Fast Cargo Logistics Corp, seventh (3.34% or 201,070 kg); Cargo Padala Express Forwarding, eighth (3.32% or 199,500 kg); Trans-global Consolidators, Inc, ninth (3.22% or 193,529 kg); and tenth spot, Argo International Forwarders, Inc (3% or 180,333 kg).

Rounding up the top 30 domestic airfreight forwarders were Highlight Express Philippines, Inc. with a share of 2.9%; Kim Gold Cargo Logistics Corp, 2.5%; Nonpareil International, Inc, 1.34%; Airlift Asia, Inc, 0.86%; TNT Express Deliveries Philippines, Inc, 0.85%; CBL Courier Express Int’l, 0.62%; Goetz Moving & Storage Corp, 0.50%; Front Cargo Forwarders, 0.50%; Ace Logistics, 0.44%; Redgold Forwarders, Inc, 0.41%; Skyfreight Forwarders, Inc, 0.29%; Iris Logistics Inc, 0.28%; Germalin Enterprises, Inc, 0.23%; Destiny Air Cargo System, 0.22%; GRM International, Inc, 0.13%; Associated Freight Consolidators, Inc, 0.12%; Carrije Cargo Corp, 0.11%; Pacific Air Express, Inc, 0.09%; SDV SCAC (Philippines), Inc, 0.06%; and RAF International Forwarding Phils Inc, 0.06%.
