German box ship Hapag-Lloyd will revise its Asia-South America East Coast (ASE) service effective week 27 to offer more comprehensive port coverage, increased frequency, and better transit times.
The altered service also adds a new connectivity from South America East Coast to South Africa, and from South Africa to Asia.
The ASE service will feature three weekly loops. Loop 1 will make calls at Busan, Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Hong Kong, Tanjung Pelepas, Singapore, Sepetiba, Santos, Itapoa, Itajai, Paranagua, Santos, Sepetiba, Coega, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Busan.
Loop 2 will cover Shanghai, Ningbo, Hong Kong, Chiwan, Singapore, Port Klang, Santos, Paranagua, Buenos Aires, Montevideo, Rio Grande, Itapoa, Santos, Durban, Port Klang, Singapore, Hong Kong, and back to Shanghai.
Loop 3 will make stops at Shanghai, Ningbo, Yantian, Chiwan, Singapore, Santos, Itapoa, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Shanghai.
