Singapore-based carrier MCC Transport is now calling Cebu port, offering direct import and export services to and from key ports in the intra-Asia region.

Via its Philippine Feeder (PH) 4 service, MCC said it is the only carrier with direct and fast product transportation network from Cebu to Yantian in China with just five days of transit.

It also said that at four days, it has the fastest direct transit from Cebu to Hong Kong.

The carrier said the service provides competitive export services to Japan base ports as well as other North Asian destinations via transhipment in Hong Kong.

The service also features a new direct product from Shanghai and Ningbo to Cebu, and a wide range of import products from other Asia origins available via transhipment from Kaohsiung.

It provides a weekend cut-off to enable clients to ship out their full week’s inventory and save on storage and warehousing costs.

The service made its first maiden call in Cebu on January 31. MCC also calls Cebu with its PH 2 service, its domestic operations that call Manila, Cagayan de Oro, and General Santos.
