PHILIPPINE company ATS Consolidated Inc (ATSCI), formerly Aboitiz Transport Systems Corp, has appointed Negros Navigation chairman Sulficio Tagud, Jr as its chief executive officer.

Tagud will remain a member of the board of Negros Navigation.

ATSCI also appointed Francis Chua as chairman and Jeremias Cruzabra, treasurer and chief finance officer.

Earlier, Ramon Villordon was appointed president of the ATSCI and Negros Navigation. He will remain president of the SuperCat and Cebu Ferries brand of ATSCI.

Negros Navigation and its foreign investors acquired 98% of Aboitiz Transport System from the Aboitiz family, domiciled in Cebu in southern Philipines, last December.
