The incoming board of directors of the Supply Chain Management Association of the Philippines (SCMAP) for 2019 to 2020, led by Christine Pardiñas as the new president, will be formally inducted early next year.

Pardiñas, vice president for supply chain of Rustan Supercenters Inc., is the first president of SCMAP to come from the retail sector. She will lead the new board of directors (BOD) that will serve for 2019, which includes Clarissa Castillo of Johnson & Johnson as vice president; Dario Arive Jr. of URC Flour, treasurer; and Pierre Carlo Curay of XVC Logistics, auditor. Dina Pilapil of LF Logistics remains as secretary.

Serving as directors for 2019 are Anghelita Santor of Nestlé; Arnel Gamboa of National Bookstore; Nestor Felicio of Unilab; Jannis Dargel, associate head of fulfillment for Zalora; and Suzie Mitchell, country managing director of DHL Supply Chain.

Online voting for the members of the 2019 BOD was held from November 15 to 23, with those elected voting amongst themselves who will assume the four officer positions apart from the presidency. The board will be formally inducted in next year’s Supply Chain Outlook event scheduled for February 8, 2019, SCMAP said in a statement.

SCMAP is the premiere supply chain organization representing the country’s supply chain industry—advocating for its enhancement and improvement, communicating the latest developments and trends, and educating supply chain practitioners on all levels.

It is composed of over 200 members, both companies and individuals, spread in several chapters across the country. Members include manufacturers, retailers and logistics service providers. – Roumina Pablo
