Logistics firm BDP International (BDP) announced June 28 the promotion of David Poh to general manager for Singapore.

Poh will be responsible for all Singapore operations, including strategies to develop the Singapore business.

Poh has been a member of the BDP senior management team for nine years, most recently as head of chemical logistics and supply chain operations, responsible for 24 major global customer accounts of BDP Singapore.

Gary Chan, BDP’s managing director for Asia Pacific, said Poh will help spearhead the company’s growth plans in Asia. “BDP is expanding its operations throughout Asia by entering new markets as well as growing our market share in established countries like Singapore.”

Before joining BDP International in 2002, Poh held various positions in the logistics industry. He has a degree in business administration from Oklahoma City University.
