Low-cost carrier Cebu Pacific Air is adding more frequencies and seats to key international destinations for the upcoming holiday peak travel period.
Beginning select dates in November and December, Cebu Pacific will add twice weekly flights to the following popular Southeast Asian routes: Manila-Bangkok (total of 14 times weekly), Manila-Hanoi (total of five times weekly), and Manila-Kuala Lumpur (total of 13 times weekly). The carrier will also mount one additional flight per week between Manila and Bali (Denpasar) for a total of three flights a week.
To accommodate additional passenger traffic, Cebu Pacific will also upgrade select flights starting December 20 between Manila and Hong Kong, Taipei, and Tokyo (Narita) using Airbus A320 through A330 aircraft. This translates to 256 more seats per flight, or over 18,300 in total seats per week between these destinations.
“By mounting additional flights and seats, we hope to encourage every Juan to make the most out of their holidays by exploring their dream destinations with family and friends. Guests can save on air fares by booking flights early via the official CEB website or mobile app, where we post promo updates,” Cebu Pacific corporate affairs vice president JR Mantaring said in a statement.
Aside from its Manila operations, Cebu Pacific is increasing its flights out of Clark International Airport. Beginning December 16, its Clark-Cebu-Clark flights will increase from three times a week to six times weekly, while Clark-Hong Kong-Clark flights will go up from seven times weekly to 10.
The carrier currently offers flights to 36 domestic and 30 international destinations, covering an extensive network that spans Asia, Australia, and the Middle East. Its 57-strong fleet is comprised of six Airbus A319 units, 36 Airbus A320, six Airbus A330, eight ATR 72-500, and one ATR 72-600 aircraft. Between 2016 and 2021, Cebu Pacific expects delivery of 32 Airbus A321neo, two Airbus A330, and 15 ATR 72-600 aircraft.
