Global freight forwarder Ceva Logistics is widening its less-than-truck-load (LTL) services in Asia-Pacific to bolster its cross-border road freight business in the region.
The Netherlands-based logistics group announced on April 17 the expansion of its cross-border LTL service, which currently runs from Singapore to China with an average of 500 trips each month.
The additional intra-Asia LTL services will initially cover three cross-border lanes linking companies’ supply chains from Shenzhen in China to Penang in Malaysia, Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam to Shenzhen in China, and Singapore to Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia.
Ceva plans to increase the number of LTL lanes in its cross-border road network across Asia over the next two years to include Shenzhen to Bangkok, Thailand, and Kuala Lumpur to Bangkok.
