Logistics Philippines recently supported the 10.10.10: A Run for the Pasig River, by far the largest foot race in the Philippines and in the world. Auditing firm Sycip, Gorres and Velayo verified that 116,086 participants showed up for the race, breaking the Bay to Breakers 12K race in San Francisco, California on May 18, 1986 which had 110,000 participants. CTSI worked side by side with event organizers, particularly ABS-CBN’s Kapit Bisig Para sa Ilog Pasig, providing logistics service for the event. Specifically, the company manned receiving and retrieval counters for bags of participants. In addition, it sponsored the 3K start arch.
