Norberto Dela Cruz, Jr, senior business HR manager of DHL Express Philippines, recently presented a P60,000 check to an official of the Philippine National Red Cross (PNRC), representing DHL employees’ donation to victims of Typhoon Sendong. An additional P30,000 and goods were also turned over by DHL Express Singapore to victims of the recent flooding. Nurhayati Abdullah, country manager of DHL Express PHL, cited the company’s significant experience in responding to and providing logistics experience to areas affected by natural disasters as well as its continuous effort to work closely with disaster relief organizations like PNRC.
