LBC carries the most shipments

The Philippines’ total domestic airfreight volume hit 38.273 million kilograms (kg) in the first six months of the year, according to latest data from the Civil Aeronautics Board.

Consolidations accounted for 31.511 million kg or 82% of the total. Direct shipments contributed 17.6% or 6.751 million kg and break bulk, 0.03% or 10,559 kg.

The figures cover both imports and exports. No comparative figures were given.

LBC Express, Inc was the country’s top domestic airfreight forwarder for the period, carrying the bulk (67.28%) or 25.748 million kg of the total.

In far second was AP Cargo Logistics Network Corp with a market share of 9.78% or 3.744 million kg and in third was Airfreight 2100, Inc, with 4.12% or 1.576 million kg.

Ximex Delivery Express landed in fourth spot with 853,791 kg, reflecting a share of 2.23%, and JRS Business Corp in fifth spot with 598,638 kg or 1.56%.

With a market share of 1.56%, American Freight Forwarders, Inc came in sixth with 597,938 kg; Explorer Freight Corp in seventh with a share of 1.17% or 449,210 kg; Fastcargo Logistics Corp in eighth, 1.15% or 441,225 kg; Highlight Express Phils, Inc in ninth, 1.09% or 417,010 kg; and Libcap Super Express Corp, tenth 1.03% or 394,985 kg.

Occupying 11th to 20th places were Cargo Padala Express Forwarding Service Corp with a share of 0.98%; Argo International Forwarders, Inc, 0.96%; Trans-global Consolidators, Inc, 0.93%; ASP Airspeed Philippines, Inc, 0.74%; Kim Gold Cargo Logistics Corp, 0.74%; Non-Pareil International, Inc, 0.46%; Airlift Asia, Inc, 0.30%; TNT Express Deliveries Phils, Inc, 0.28%; Goetz Moving & Storage Corp, 0.22%; and CBL Courier Express Int’l, 0.16%.

In 21st to 30th places were Redgold Forwarders Inc, Ace Logistics, Inc, Germalin Enterprises, Inc, Iris Logistics, Inc, GRM International, Inc, Skyfreight Forwarders, Inc, Destiny Air Cargo System, SDV SCAC (Philippines), Inc, Carrije Cargo Corp, and Pacific Air Express, Inc.
