Japan-based carrier Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha, Ltd (“K” Line) has added a new direct service from Korea to the Philippines and Indonesia as a slot operator.

The weekly service, called Jaseco-K, “aims to expand the service coverage to/from Korea to the Straits area,” the ocean carrier said on November 1.

The service makes its first sailing on November 7, 2011. It will have a regular port rotation as follows: Xingang, Pyeongtaek, Busan, Manila, Singapore, Jakarta, Manila, Busan, Incheon, and back at Xingang.
