Kuehne + Nagel Singapore opened an office in Myanmar in early April to further strengthen its presence in the Asia-Pacific region.

The Kuehne + Nagel office in Yangon, near major sea- and airports, offers comprehensive forwarding services by sea and air, warehousing, overland transportation, and customs brokerage.

Myanmar, an emerging market with increasing international trades with Europe, the U.S., and Asia, has a population of about 60 million. The country is rich in natural resources and is a key exporter of agricultural goods, textiles, wood products, construction materials, gems, metals, oil, and natural gas.

Its major imports include dairy products, machinery, and equipment.
