Swiss forwarding conglomerate Kuehne + Nagel has opened a second logistics facility in Hong Kong to provide integrated warehousing and distribution services to the area.

The 75,000-square-feet facility is located at the Hutchison Logistics Centre, adjacent to Kuehne + Nagel’s warehouse and container freight stations (CFSs) in Kwai Chung, the major logistics hub in Hong Kong.

“Our logistics facilities are strategically connected with our CFS operations for seafreight and airfreight [for] streamlined integrated logistics activities and enhanced flexibility,” said Joerg Bull, managing director of Kuehne + Nagel Hong Kong, Macau and South China.

The additional warehouse space brings to 350,000 square feet the total area managed by the Swiss logistics company in Hong Kong.
