The freight forwarding division of Norbert Dentressangle has established a representative office in Vietnam as it seeks out more emerging markets.

The office in Hanoi will initially provide services between Vietnam and China to support growing trade between the two countries, but it intends to expand to Vietnam’s other major trading partners, especially in the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, a company statement said.

“The new office in Vietnam gives us a presence in one of the most dynamic emerging countries in the East Asia region,” said the managing director of Norbert Dentressangle Overseas, Guillaume Col.

The freight forwarding division of Norbert Dentressangle, a France-headquartered transport and logistics company, was launched in 2010 and operates across 54 offices in 14 countries in Europe, America, and Asia.
