Zamboanga Tawi-Tawi flights
The new Philippine Airlines daily service between Zamboanga and Tawi-Tawi starts December 15.

Philippine Airlines (PAL) is launching a Zamboanga-Tawi-Tawi service in December to boost its network in Mindanao.

The new daily service between Zamboanga and Tawi-Tawi starts December 15 in response to calls for air connectivity between Zamboanga, dubbed the “City of Flowers,” and the southernmost island province of Tawi-Tawi, PAL said in a statement.

PR 2485 will depart Zamboanga daily at 8 a.m. and will arrive in Tawi-Tawi at 9:30 a.m., while PR 2486 will leave Tawi-Tawi daily at 10 a.m. and touch down in Zamboanga at 11:30 a.m.

PAL currently operates direct flights to Zamboanga from Manila.

Aside from the new Zamboanga-Tawi-Tawi service, PAL will also begin brand-new services from Cebu to Zamboanga on the same day.

It added that the new services will allow travelers to conveniently connect across the Manila-Zamboanga-Tawi-Tawi and Cebu-Zamboanga-Tawi-Tawi routes.
