The Philippines’ biggest annual gathering of transportation movers and shakers will take place on July 24-26 at the SMX Convention Center in Pasay City, offering four shows and exhibitions on the auto aftermarket; buses, trucks, commercial vehicles; cold chain supplies and services; and construction and machinery industry.
The four co-located shows are PhilAuto, an international auto aftermarket exhibition; PhilBus and Truck, which is the bus, truck, and commercial vehicles exhibition; ColdChain Philippines; and Construction, Machinery & Engineering Exhibition.
The four shows are to occupy more than 9,000 square meters of SMX space and expected to attract over 10,000 buyers and visitors during the three-day event.
At a press conference on July 18, event organizer AMB Tarsus announced the holding of pocket events that will coincide with the exhibitions.
On July 24, the Bus Summit will be held by the Philippine Automotive Traders Association and Nagkakaisang Samahan ng mga Nangangasiwa ng Panlalawigang Bus sa Pilipinas, Inc. (formerly Provincial Bus Operators Association of the Philippines). Meanwhile the Truckers Executive Assembly is to be staged by the Manila North Harbor Trucking Association.
On the second day, the Truckers Forum, co-organized with the Haulers and Truckers Association in the Watersouth, will be held with Senator Grace Poe as the guest speaker. The second Cold Chain Academy—supported by the ColdChain Association of the Philippines, Pharmaceutical Healthcare Association of the Philippines, Philippine Multimodal Transportation Inc., and Philippine Association of Meat Processors Inc.—will also be held on the same day. The cold chain forum will discuss topics from cold chain automation and maintenance, to food service distribution, efficient solutions for warehouse and many more.
The third day will gather all transport cooperatives from Luzon to Mindanao for the National Transport Congress. All conferences will have officials from government agencies and industry leaders as guest speakers.

Joining the truck expo are big truck and bus manufacturers like Hino, Isuzu, Foton, Sinotruck, Kia, Shell and Caltex, as well as industry associations such as National Federation of Transport Cooperative, Confederation of Truckers Association of the Philippines, Nagkakaisang Samahan ng Nangangasiwa ng Panlalawigang Bus sa Pilipinas, Haulers and Truckers Associations in the Watersouth, Inland Haulers & Truckers Association, Aduana Business Club Inc., Alliance of the Philippines Custom Brokers and Trucking Associations.
The Coldchain Expo, currently on its second year, will welcome a new roster of local and international exhibitors in the cold chain industry, including those on reefer containers, refrigerated trucks, insulation, RFID technology, solar panels, cold storage and warehousing, solar and alternative energy sources, packaging, and so on.
