European express delivery company TNT Express is planning to sell the Dutch operations of its specialist fashion supply chain business TNT Fashion.

Headquartered in Oldenzaal, the Netherlands, TNT Fashion offers a wide range of supply chain services for the fashion industry, including storage, packing and repacking, distribution, and retailing services. Its customers range from high-end designer labels to high-volume retailers.

The possible sale of the Dutch operations of TNT Fashion will be designed to ensure service continuity, according to an official statement.

The sale will not affect existing agreements with customers and suppliers as TNT Express will continue to offer delivery services to the fashion and lifestyle industry, it continued.

TNT Express hopes to close a possible sale by the end of this year.

On July 29, 2013, the company said TNT Fashion’s activities in the United Kingdom will be integrated with TNT Express UK & Ireland’s operations.
