CEVA Logistics, a global supply chain company, has opened new premises in Bucharest, Romania, strengthening its freight management platform in Eastern Europe.

Strategically located close to the biggest Romanian airport and seaports, CEVA has invested in the new office, which will provide customers with freight management solutions. CEVA’s range of services will include:

  • International air and ocean freight management services
  • Cargo planning
  • Freight management consultancy
  • Worldwide door-to-door deliveries
  • Customs clearance

“The new office reflects our commitment to provide a solid platform for expansion in Eastern Europe. We have been providing freight management services in Romania for five years through an exclusive partner and already have a strong customer base which we look forward to developing further as we continue to deliver the high service levels which our customers have come to expect from CEVA,” said Piotr Zborowski, CEVA’s senior vice president, Eastern Europe.

“Over the past two years, we have developed a team of freight management experts who are intimately familiar with our local market as well as our global network. Our in-house specialists will offer cargo planning consultancy and shipment advice 24 hours a day, seven days a week,” added Cristian Ofiteru, CEVA’s country manager in Romania.

CEVA has an established presence in Eastern Europe with offices in Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia providing integrated contract logistics and freight management services.
